Quick Base Opens Second Office In Salt Lake City

At the end of January, the software-as-a-service firm, Quick Base, announced the opening of its second office in Salt Lake City. This follows major growth for the company over the past few months, including key investment from equity firm, Vista Equity Partners.

The primary office, based in Cambridge, MA, has long been an attractive location for the software giant due to the presence of tech talent from nearby educational institutions. The decision to open a second office in Salt Lake City follows a similar rationale.

As one of the fastest growing cities in the tech space in the United States, many Silicon Valley companies, such as Adobe and Twitter, have established bases in Utah due to its low taxes and regulatory environment.

CEO Rick Willett announced that Salt Lake is a “vibrant technology hub” and is looking to significantly increase its employee headcount.

The company already established important early links with city by its participation at the Silicon Slopes Tech Summit at the beginning of February and sponsoring the 2019 Slopes Fest.

With the new influx of funds and expansion, be on the look out for Quick Base to announce new developments and establish itself as the definitive leader in the low code software space during 2019.
