Changing Your App’s Time Zone | BEGINNER

As many businesses have branches spread out across the globe, the need for handling data across time zones becomes critical. Setting your time zone to match the Application users’ primary location reduces errors around time sensitive information and improves the overall user experience.

EDITORS NOTE: Updating the Time Zone is an admin-only setting

Setting the Time Zone of your Quick Base application:

  1. Navigate to: Home > Settings > App Properties

  2. Scroll to the middle of the page where you will see Timezone Settings listed under the Add date and time section.

  1. The default setting will be Always user the billing account’s time zone (time zone). To select a different time zone, choose the option beneath and pick your desired zone from the drop down.

  1. To finalize your new time zone, click the Save button on the top right-hand side of your screen. Congratulations, you’ve just updated your Application’s Time Zone!
