Quandary Consulting Group is seeking an energetic and driven director to lead the sales team in offering business transformations as a service. The QCG team provides technology management consulting services to customers seeking automation processes. As the Director of Sales, you will build the sales team that will bring in clients seeking lower-cost custom integrations and applications through our use of low code platforms such as Quickbase, Pipefy, and Workato.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is eager to influence this continued hyper-growth services environment. The Director of Sales will play a crucial role, as part of the leadership team, in scaling the growth of a new sales team. Qualified candidates will be strong leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, manage and organize a pipeline and have a strong track record of developing new business.

  • Define and execute the company’s sales plan

  • Create and maintain sales playbook

  • Direct and coordinate all sales activities

  • Collaborate with other leadership team members and operations team to determine target market and go to market strategy

  • Collaborate with other leadership team members to set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales target goals for growth

  • Meet and exceed sales target goals

  • Collaborate with the Operations team to develop the sales team hiring plan and contribute to the training program for new Account Executives

  • Lead a team of professional services sellers to enable the realization of Quandary Consulting Group’s goals

  • Lead sales meetings focused on improving sales revenue and gross profit

  • Utilize partner relationships to attain quota

  • Prepare sales budgets and projections

  • Approve expenditures

  • Create, track, and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics

  • Create sales reports

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients

  • Drive success to ensure quota attainment per resource

  • 4+ years of experience as a director/manager of a high-performing sales team selling professional services

  • Must meet or exceed defined sales goals to earn the performance-based portion of compensation structure

  • Proven success of building a sales team

  • Portfolio of sales successes

  • Proven track record of exceeding quota

  • Experience value selling

  • Experience selling professional services

  • Experience with complex sales/deals

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Ability to provide mentorship

  • Strong computer literacy, including use of MS Suite

  • Experience managing processes

  • Broad sense of business development

  • Knowledge of web-based engineering

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or relevant field

  • Familiarity with low code platforms such as QuickBase, Workato, Pipefy preferred

  • Annually $150,000 base ($300,000+ OTE total) and uncapped commissions
